I work with students from elementary through high school, helping them build the skills and confidence to work through problems on their own.
I have five years of public school classroom experience in special education, with a focus on upper elementary, and a master’s degree in the field. That background shapes how I teach: I am skilled at identifying a student’s needs and helping them move to the next level of their learning.
The goal is kids confident in their own thinking, developing skills and knowledge that will enable them to adapt to their next academic challenge.
Sessions are 50 minutes, one on one, focused on whatever the student is working on: reading, writing, math, or general study skills.
